"Playing the piano with Manel Camp"
SALA PIANO Concert is a concert for young pianists, organized by La Casa dels Pianos, Associació d'Escoles Catalanes de Música and Sibelius. SALA PIANO Concert takes place in the wonderful Piano Room of La Garriga de Castelladral, which has this name because it has the shape of a grand piano.
SALA PIANO first concert was held in 2011 and was dedicated to the history of music. In 2012, the painter and illustrator Valentí Gubianas painted a very old piano while the young pianists played their music. Next 14th March we will celebrate the third edition, this year the concert will be dedicated to the great pianist Manel Camp.
In this third edition we want to discover the character and music of this great composer while the young pianists play Manel Camp's own compositions. Manel Camp and the young pianists will play at the same time, with two pianos, offering a great concert at La Garriga de Castelladral.
