Wine

The history of wine has been of paramount importance to La Garriga de Castelladral. In the late 19th century the Phylloxera plague devastated the vineyards of France. From that time, the farmhouse experienced a large increase in demand for wine. Accordingly, it grew and constructed annexes, finally becoming a centre of wine production.

The Wine room is wide, bright and very comfortable. It is decorated with dark crimson and beige tones alluding to the colour of wine, without which today's La Garriga would not exist.
